This Privacy Policy explains how Gomesin IT LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company that operates Cachet (“Cachet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Service. Questions? Email legal@cachet.gallery.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Gomesin IT LLC is the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us about privacy at legal@cachet.gallery.
2. What we collect
- From Google sign-in. When you sign in with Google we request only the
openid email profilescopes and receive your email address, name, profile picture, and a Google account identifier. We do not request any other Google data. - Profile you create. Your username and bio.
- Your content. Photos you upload and item details you enter (name, brand, model, condition, story), including private value fields such as acquisition price and estimated value. Private value fields are never shown on public pages.
- Payment. If you buy a membership, we store only Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Your card and payment details are collected and processed entirely by Stripe — we never see or store them.
- Technical. Two first-party functional cookies (see Section 5), your IP address used transiently for security and rate-limiting, and — only if you opt into notifications — a browser push subscription token.
3. How we use it
- to provide the Service — your account, galleries, and public profile;
- to process the Verified membership through Stripe;
- to deliver notifications you have opted into;
- to secure the Service and prevent abuse;
- to comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (for EEA/UK users)
We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service and the membership), for our legitimate interests (securing the Service and preventing abuse), and with your consent (push notifications, and any content you choose to make public). You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. Cookies
We use only two first-party, functional cookies: vb_session (keeps you signed in) and vb_oauth_state (protects the sign-in flow). We use no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run Cachet:

7. International transfers
Cachet is operated from the United States and your data is processed and stored there. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
8. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, subject to any limited retention we are legally required to keep (for example, payment records).
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to the processing of your personal data (including under the GDPR and CCPA). To exercise these rights, contact legal@cachet.gallery.
Deleting your account. You can permanently delete your account and its data yourself at any time from the “Danger zone” at the bottom of your galleries page. The deletion is immediate: your account, galleries, pieces, uploaded photos, and membership are removed, and any active subscription is cancelled. You can also email legal@cachet.gallery for help.
10. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS), signed session cookies, a private storage bucket for photos, and verified database connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.
11. Children
Cachet is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact legal@cachet.gallery and we will remove it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
